Missing a World Cup match because you’re in the air is no longer a problem.
Emirates has announced that passengers will be able to watch every match of the FIFA World Cup 2026 live during their flight thanks to its partnership with Sport 24.
The airline will stream the full tournament through Sport 24 on its inflight entertainment system, allowing football fans to follow every match from 40,000 feet.
With millions of supporters travelling throughout the tournament, the initiative ensures customers can stay connected to one of the world’s biggest sporting events, whether they’re flying between destinations or crossing continents.
To make planning even easier, Emirates has included the complete World Cup broadcast schedule in the June edition of its ice magazine, allowing passengers to see exactly which matches will be available during their journey.
Live television, including Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra, is available on most Emirates aircraft, although availability may vary depending on the aircraft type and route.
The World Cup experience extends beyond the cabin as well. Where possible, Emirates will also screen live tournament matches across its airport lounges in Dubai, giving travellers another opportunity to follow the action before boarding.
As the showdown of the World Cup 2026 continues, everyone has been glued to every match until final game on 19 July.
