We just got served the new adidas 2026 and 2027 home jersey for both Bafana-Bafana and Banyana-Banyana, and the rollout feels intentional from top to bottom. adidas tapped some of the country’s brightest football talent, including Rele Mofokeng, Fikile Magama and Thalente Mbatha, to front the campaign.
The timing could not be sharper, with the 2026 global tournament on the horizon and Bafana Bafana set to step onto that stage in this very kit, following the end of the previous sponsorship era.
Design wise, the jersey doesn’t step away much from the 2010 kit, keeping the yellow base with green accents.
In just two weeks, Banyana-Banyana will debut the kit on opening day of the WAFCON 2026 in Morocco. Then, in 100 days, Bafana Bafana will face Mexico national football team in their opening match of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Performance remains central to the build. The jersey incorporates adidas’ latest CLIMACOOL Plus technology, engineered with stretch fabrics and 3D body mapping to enhance ventilation, breathability and moisture management in high intensity conditions.
Perforated three stripe panels and strategically placed mesh zones further improve airflow and comfort on the pitch. The authentic version also features a new lenticular heat applied federation crest and adidas logo, delivering a subtle shapeshifting visual effect that adds a bold, innovative finish.
The away jersey will be revealed on 19 March 2026. The 2026 and 2027 home jersey will be available from 20 March 2026 at adidas stores, online and selected retail partners.
