American rap star Gunna is set to make his return to South Africa this summer as the Milk + Cookies Festival announces its second edition. After a powerful debut last year headlined by Kaytranada, the festival will once again bring global and local music culture together across Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Gunna, who last performed in the country earlier this year for a Heineken event, will take the stage in Cape Town on 3 January 2026 at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth, before heading to Johannesburg on 10 January at Nasrec Expo Centre. Fans can secure their tickets starting Friday, 10 October 2025, at 8:30 AM via Howler.
Milk + Cookies Music Week will extend the experience beyond the stage. The program will include educational workshops and writing camps for aspiring producers and songwriters, industry panels that connect South African and North American music professionals, and community-focused initiatives that empower local creatives.
Festival-goers can also look forward to merch pop-ups showcasing South African streetwear brands.
