Netflix has officially shared the first look at Squid Game Season 3, which is set to premiere on 27 June 2025. The new season will bring the global hit series to a gripping close, continuing right after the brutal finale of Season 2. At the centre of it all is Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, who now faces his darkest chapter yet.
Still reeling from the trauma of past events, Gi-hun finds himself once again pulled into the merciless world of the Games. This time, the stakes are even higher and the consequences more severe.
Each decision pushes the remaining players deeper into despair, and with each new round, the line between survival and sacrifice becomes even blurrier. As the series’ lead, Gi-hun is expected to make his most pivotal choices yet.
Returning alongside him is the mysterious and calculating Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), who resumes command of the twisted competition. The VIPs return to spectate, raising the tension as darker, more elaborate games unfold. Meanwhile, Jun-ho is still on the hunt for the truth behind the island’s operations, but his mission becomes increasingly dangerous with a possible traitor lurking nearby.
