IN A NUTSHELL
• DBN Gogo announces a 24 hour DJ set taking place 04 to 05 April 2026
• The open to public marathon will run from midnight to midnight
• She aims to mark a historic moment as the first female DJ in South Africa to attempt this feat
Amapiano jock DBN Gogo will be playing a 24-hour DJ set for her fans during her upcoming shows in April.
The South African DJ has confirmed that she will deliver a 24-hour DJ set open to the public, running from midnight on Saturday 04 April 2026 through to midnight on Sunday 05 April 2026.
While marathon sets are not new to the global dance scene, they remain a serious test of endurance, focus and musical range. South Africa has witnessed moments of this scale before, most notably when Black Coffee delivered a record breaking 60-hour set in Soweto, Johannesburg back in 2010, cementing his name among the greats.
Now DBN Gogo steps into that space, with the potential to become the first female DJ in South Africa to take on a challenge of this magnitude.
Across the full 24 hours, DBN Gogo will not stand alone. She will be joined by fellow industry DJs at select moments, turning the experience into a collaborative celebration of sound while still keeping her at the centre of the journey.
The event will be open to the public, with the venue, ticket details and full line up set to be announced .
