Cape Town International Jazz Festival 2026 is set to welcome back one of its recent standouts.
Yussef Dayes returns to South Africa after headlining the festival in 2024, bringing with him the ever evolving Yussef Dayes Experience. Known for his dynamic drumming and genre bending sound, Dayes continues to push the boundaries of contemporary jazz on a global scale.

This year he is joined by UK multi instrumentalist and genre defying creative Jacob Collier, alongside fellow UK artist Jasmine Myra and legendary American jazz fusion group Yellowjackets.
The festival maintains its two-day format and will take place on 27 and 28 March 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). Audiences can move between the Kippies Stage, Rosies Stage and Manenberg Stage, each curated to showcase a wide spectrum of jazz and adjacent genres.

Adding strong local flavour to the bill are top South African talents including Nduduzo Makhathini, Sipho Hotstix Mabuse, lordkez, Manana, Rorisang Sechele, Scorpion Kings, Jazzwrld and Thukuthela.
