IN A NUTSHELL
- H&M is back with Stella McCartney twenty years after their first collaboration
- The collection blends archival favourites with modern tailoring and accessories
- Launches 7 May at Sandton City, V&A Waterfront and online via Superbalist
When it comes to designer collaborations, H&M has built one of the strongest track records in fashion. From past partnerships with names like Glenn Martens, Balmain, Anamika Khanna, Kenzo, ROKH and Rabanne, the brand has consistently shown a sharp eye for cultural relevance and style.

Now, H&M reaches back into one of its most iconic chapters, reuniting with Stella McCartney for a new collection arriving twenty years after their first partnership in 2005.
That original drop was only H&M’s second ever designer collaboration and helped set the tone for what would become one of fashion’s most anticipated release formats. Now the two return with a collection that celebrates McCartney’s 25 year legacy while bringing her signature codes into the present.

The new range merges past and present with ease. Current signatures like oversized shirting, sweeping trench coats and sharp tailoring sit alongside playful references from McCartney’s early archive, including embellished prints and slogan tops.

Standout pieces include rib knitted dresses and tops finished with the designer’s Falabella chain detail at the neckline, a dramatic white gown with cape inspired sleeves, sparkling partywear, clean denim separates and mesh dresses in a revived cherry print.

Accessories arrive strong too, with six bag styles ranging from compact shoulder bags to oversized totes. Jewellery and loafers featuring chain detailing continue the Falabella influence, crafted using recycled metals in mixed tones.

The campaign, shot in London by Sam Rock, stars Reneé Rapp, Angelina Kendall and Adwoa Aboah.
Carrying the tagline “&Stella,” the visuals explore connection, individuality and timeless style through phrases like &Here &Now and &Me &You.

The Stella McCartney H&M collection will be dropping on 7 May at Sandton City, V&A Waterfront and online at Superbalist.
